The design fair schedule for the year follows its usual pattern, featuring the ever-present Salone del Mobile. Milan in April. This design marathon starts in January and concludes in November, offering a mix of large international exhibitions and more intimate events focused on research and innovation.
Key 2024 Design Fairs in the First Quarter
The year begins with IMM Cologne from January 14 to 18, spotlighting connections and business (with a second event from June 14 to 18).
Next, the scene shifts to Paris, France, for the traditional Maison&Objet from January 18 to 22, focusing on large furniture at the Villepinte complex.
Following soon after is Ambiente Frankfurt, from January 26 to 30, a diverse showcase encompassing gifts and tableware. For those interested in sustainability, Klimahouse in Bolzano, a fair dedicated to sustainable lifestyles, runs from January 31 to February 3.
The journey continues north for the Stockholm Design Week from February 5 to 11, a vibrant event that brings the Swedish capital to life with city-wide events and showroom exhibitions, followed by the exclusive NOMAD St. Moritz in Switzerland from February 22 to 25.
Salone del Mobile.Milano 2024: The Pinnacle of Design Fairs
The Salone del Mobile. Milan, renowned as the foremost design fair, takes place at Rho Fiera from April 21 to 26.
This 62nd edition, drawing a global audience of visitors and exhibitors, features biennial events like Eurocucina, FTK – Technology for the Kitchen, and Salone Internazionale del Bagno, alongside the Salone Satellite. Concurrently, Fuorisalone will light up every district of the city.
Notably, the latest lighting trends will be unveiled in showrooms across Corso Monforte, the Brera Design District, and additional locations yet to be decided.
Spring-Summer 2024: Noteworthy Design Fair Events
May is a highlight for the Anglo-Saxon design world, featuring ICFF New York from May 19 to 21 and Design London from May 21 to 23. Architect@Work in Rome is also on the agenda from June 12 to 13. The picturesque island of Capri will host NOMAD Capri in July, with dates yet to be confirmed.
Autumn 2024: Major Design Fairs and Exhibitions
Post-summer break, Maison&Objet returns with a focus on decoration from September 5 to 9. The London Design Festival is slated from September 14 to 22, followed by Singapore Find from September 26 to 28.
A few days prior, the Genoa Boat Show sets sail from September 19 to 24, coinciding with Cersaie – the International Ceramic Fair in Bologna, scheduled for September 23 to 27.
After these events, EDIT Napoli is set for early October, with specific dates still to be announced. Concluding the season, the four-day Orgatec event will take place from October 22 to 26, and this will be complemented by the Milan edition of Architect@Work on November 13 and 14.
