The Munch Museum in Oslo, Norway

A museum that has been eagerly awaited by art lovers around the world is the Munch Museum in Oslo, Norway, which showcases the artistic legacy of the renowned painter Edvard Munch. The museum, created by Estudio Herreros, is an impressive 60-meter-high structure by the sea, with 13 floors of art and cultural activities. PE Munch Museum Oslo contains the world’s biggest collection of Munch’s art, with 11 galleries and over 26,000 original artworks made by the artist, as well as his items and archives. 
 
Some of his most famous works, such as The Sun and The Frieze of Life, are exhibited in a specially designed double-height gallery. At the same time, the most celebrated masterpiece, The Scream, is offered in three versions: a painting, a drawing, and a print, one of which is always visible to the public. 
 
The institute also offers temporary exhibitions of modernist and contemporary artists in conversation with Munch, as well as concerts, performances, film shows, and art talks.

Fotografiska Museum in Berlin, Germany

 One of the most highly anticipated new art museum openings in Europe is the Fotografiska Berlin, in Germany, an art space dedicated to contemporary photography, art, and culture. The museum, part of the global Fotografiska family that already has branches in Stockholm, New York, and Tallinn, will open its doors in the second half of 2023, taking over almost 5500 square meters of a historical building in the centre of Berlin’s Mitte district.

Established in 2004 by Oya Eczacıbaşı, the Istanbul Modern Museum displays hundreds of works by Turkish and international artists, ranging from the late 19th century to the present day.
